RETURN
POLICY
14 Calender Day Return Policy : New items must be returned
within 14 days from the date on invoice for a credit or a
refund of the purchase price paid. The JAG Company will not
accept the return of opened computers, notebooks, BareBones
systems/upgrades, PDA’s, software or other electronic
devices unless defective. If defective, these items may be
exchanged for identical items only. There are exceptions to
this policy, as follows:
Restocking Fees : Unless the product is defective, a
restocking fee of 15%for unopened items or 25% for opened
items may be charged. Shipping and handling fees may be
deducted from any return.
Exceptions to the 14 Calender Day
Return Policy : Please note that The JAG Company does not
permit the return of or offer refunds for the following
products: 1. Configure-to-order, personalized or other
customized system or product; 2. Special Order items; 3.
Opened Software*; 4. Installed Hardware*; 5. Labor and/or
Installation services; 6. Customer Consumables such as ink
cartridges, stationary, etc; 7. Any package with missing,
abused or damaged items; 8. Any product not in 'as new'
condition; 9. Any item sold as “Used” or “Refurbished”; 10.
Any item marked “As Is”. *Opened/Installed software and
hardware performed by The JAG Company at the request of the
customer is covered under the excluded items as listed
above as the action in question is done by proxy.
Dead On Arrival (DOA) Product:
System Failure Out of the Box : A JAG-branded or ESP
Warranty covered hardware product is considered DOA if it
shows symptoms of a hardware failure, preventing basic
operability, upon its first use out of the box. If you
believe that your product is DOA, please call The JAG
Company within 14 calendar days of the invoice date. The
JAG Company will determine whether the product is DOA and
offer you the following options: 1. Replacement: The same
product that you ordered will be delivered to you after the
original product has been received and tested by The JAG
Company. 2.Service: You may have the product repaired;
however, once serviced, the product is no longer eligible
for replacement.
DOA Terms and Conditions : This
DOA policy applies only to specific JAG-branded hardware
products, or those products supported by a JAG-branded ESP
Warranty. This DOA policy does not apply to third-party
products that do not bear the JAG brand name or ESP
Warranty. You may call the manufacturer directly with any
third-party product issues. If the product is deemed DOA by
JAG Technical Support more than 14 calendar days after the
invoice date, the standard product warranty will apply. If
the product is deemed by JAG Technical Support NOT to be
DOA, the standard product warranty will apply. The JAG
Company reserves the right to test returned DOA product. If
the condition of the product is misrepresented by the
customer, The JAG Company may impose a $400 handling fee.
Return and Exchange Requirements :
Your original receipt is required for all returns, credits,
exchanges, and warranty repair services. Before a refund is
given, the product for which the refund will be provided
must be returned to The JAG Company and becomes The JAG
Company's property. For purchases over $100, your refund
will be issued by The JAG Company within 30 business days
of the return, unless otherwise noted at the time of your
request. Business days are considered as being Monday thru
Friday of each week.
Personal Data : Before you ship
the product(s) to us, make sure to back up the data on the
hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the
product(s). Remove any confidential, proprietary or
personal information, removable media, such as floppy
disks, CDs, or PC Cards. We are not responsible for any of
your confidential, proprietary or personal information;
lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.
Canceling orders not yet received
: If a product is not in stock and must be special ordered,
the customer has 24 hours to contact The JAG Company and
cancel their order. After 24 hours, a restocking fee may be
charged based on the progress of the order. If the special
order item has already shipped or been delivered to The JAG
Company, but not yet received by the customer, the standard
return policy will apply.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS : The
JAG Company is not responsible for typographical errors.
The JAG Company reserves the right to change the terms and
conditions of sale at any time. All sales at the The JAG
Company office are governed by Ohio law, without giving
effect to its conflict of law provisions. No The JAG
Company employee or agent has the authority to orally vary
any of the The JAG Company's policies or the terms and
conditions governing any sale or refund. The JAG Company
reserves the right to deny any return.
